Is it using shorten links are good in SEO as per google ?

Hey warriors ,,What i am looking for is , Can we use our links in shorten, due to words limitation like in twitter any other platform

AND

We are using the google shortener or any other service , then Is it prove violation of google algorithm and give bad results on our website or blog on which w are doing our SEO efforts?

Is it okey using somewhere ?

    Using URL shorteners like Bitly, can be very effective. As you will get some clicks to your as users would want to know what the link is about. Also you could track the clicks by just adding a + in front of your bitly link.

    As social search has become more important, so has understanding how SEO works for shared links. In a video message, Google’s Matt Cutts explains exactly how the shortened URLs are treated. Cutts states that almost all shorteners are going to use a “301 permanent redirect” to move the page to the appropriate destination, and that Google will treat any links to that 301 redirect as being a link – for the sake of pagerank – to the destination. That destination page will also receive the “social promotion” bump for any friends/followers of the original tweeter.
