You need diverse backlink across all types of platforms (webs 2.0, social media, social bookmark) the more varies your backlink platforms is the better. Magic submitter and GSA Search ranker does that therefore these 2 software rank websites easily. You need A mixture of no follow and dofollow backlinks as well as high PR and low PR backlinks.

These are the useful seo tips for 20123.
      1. Quality Content
Although you believe or don't, quality content is the most important thing for SEO. Even though you do everything about SEO and if you don't have quality content you can't get a good search engine rank.

      2. Important HTML Tags
Few years back, Meta description and Meta keyword tags were very important for SEO, but now major search engines like Google don't care Meta keywords.
I can mention that Title tag, Meta description tag, Image alt tag, H1 tag and H2 tag are the most important tags for SEO.
If your blogging platform is WordPress you can use Yoast plugin as a SEO plugin.

      3. Post Length
Before panda and Penguin updates, writing five posts each of hundred words better than writing a post with five hundred words, but now it is different as writing a post with five hundred words is more worth than writing five posts with hundred words.
You should write 300+ words posts and it is better if you can write 600-2000 words posts. But don't forget that quality is better than quantity. So don't write useless sentences to increase word count.

      4. Pay attention about other search engines
There is no doubt that Google is the best search engine. Almost every blogger tries to optimize posts for only Google, they don't think about other search engine like Yahoo or Bing.
Every search engine has their own algorithm to index web pages. So, do a small research about how to optimize posts for yahoo and Bing. If you studied well, you can easily drive more traffic via Yahoo and Bing because many bloggers don't try to optimize posts for Yahoo and Bing (Never forget Google).

      5. Link Building
Link building is the main off page optimization technique. When creating backlinks, pay attention about the following points.

      1. Always try to create quality backlinks.

      2. Don't use any script or software to create backlinks (A quality backlink is more powerful than 100 bad backlinks).

      3. Create both no-follow and do-follow backlinks(Don't create only do-follow backlinks because Google might take it is unnatural)

      4. Don't use any spam method to create backlinks.

Size definitely matters, sure not an article full of fluff but when written well with tons of LSI keywords then a long article beats those 100-300 words snippets any day any time, assuming all other factors are equal.

      1) About diversity... - BS. Imagine that your only backlinks are coming from authority Wordpress websites. What do you think Google will go "No, No, no - build some web 2.0 websites and social bookmarks and only then we will let you stay on top?"

      2) Magic Submitter and GSA rank websites easily... really? Who told you that? For what keywords? For "how to be a cool superstar in Siberia while looking like Lady Gaga" and similar stuff?

      3) Mixture of dofollow and nofollow... coming back to the authority websites example. What do you think Google will go, "Yeah, your dofollow links are good... but where are your nofollow links, mate? Sorry, just for that we will put this crappy made-for-adsense website on top"

Simple, you need a mixture of low PR + High PR (authority sites) and social signal. You need nofollow 50% and dofollow backlinks 50%.

Magic submitter and GSA search ranker can rank any low, medium competition keywords easily if you know how to use it properly.

Crap, I mean mixture of dofollow and nofollow means you will have to build both dofollow and nofollow backlinks in order to make your backlink profile look as natural as possible.

It is not written in ONE, SINGLE, WORTHWHILE backlink guide.

50% nofollow links? Real websites do not have 50% of their backlink profile consisting of nofollow links.

We just did a test with 2 extremily similar type of sites with the exact same concept of designing and in the very same niche, just 2 different sets of keywords that were highly related.

Site 1: got only high PR blog posts
Site 2: got a mix of high PR blog posts, web directories, bookmarks, video's and web2.0's

Site 1: Is after 2 months ranking on page 20/30
Site 2: Is ranking between #2 and #30 for most keywords

We're talking about kw's with 40k and 600k exact searches here.

None of the 2 sites had any link building done before.

So I'm from opinion that diversity definitely is very important, just make sure you don't start to spam wildly purely to diversify but instead give some attention the links you build and only use the top 5 or top 25 sites that normal humans also use or in other words avoid all those PR1 bookmark/article directory sites and what not.

Link Diversity IS important, ONLY if you're planning on building hundreds or thousands of backlinks within a few months...

Obviously, if you only have a handful of backlinks pointing to your site, diversity isn't going to be a huge issue because you're pretty much under the radar.

Anchor text diversity is also clearly important as many case studies have shown Penguin 1.0 targeting sites with over-optimized anchor texts.

Other than that, links from 'relevant high PR' sites will always be king. You literally only need a handful of these to rank well. Relevance is defined mainly as a domain thats in your general category...doesn't need to be the exact same. Google clearly has a way of grouping relevant categories of sites together, although there is quite a lot of room for error here as well.

Go after site owners that rank on the first 3 pages of Google for your chosen keywords and ask to buy a text link on their site...can't get any simpler and more streamlined that that.

And instead of guest posting, flip it on its head...offer to pay the Site/Blog owner to write an article for your site! You can be sure the blogger will want to link to you naturally to show off his/her work and probably post a Facebook status update and tweet about it as well.

Looks like the taking things literally fairy has been around here today.

CTRTheme - when people write things like "your backlinks should be 50% nofollow and 50% follow" one of 2 things is going on:

1 - They don't know what they're talking about and they're just repeating what someone else told them or they read.

2 - They're using those statistics as a generalisation to make the point that your link profile should have some diversity to it. This is often done when teaching noobies to SEO that they should not just pick one link building strategy and stick to it if it is very focused (like for example "find do-follow bookmarking sites and submit your link".

So - you're not supposed to take that sort of comment literally as a rule that you have to have 50% no-follow.

As Mike has indicated no one in their right mind would say something like that and mean it unless they were talking to a complete noobie who can't think for themselve and needed specific literal advice to take short term actions, or they don't know what they're talking about.

Ironically - you're both saying that diversity is good, but when you make literal statements with stats like that you're asking for them to be shot down because they're only useful as a guideline and not for literal following.

2013 is very tuff for SEO. its not simple to ranked the keywords in Search engine, but getting backlinks form any sites, or adding any content in website. In 2013 we have to concentrate in quality - Quality & Unique content, Submit website your high authority sites. For directory submission choose the best matching category. Not add too many links in article, blog submission.

Learn by experiment - that is better way, anyhow, SEO is not static, it is dynamic.

Anyhow, I would say, you have to make sure your webpages are well optimized to be friendly with search engines as well as your visitors. Try you brand yourself on your webpages.

Once that is done, go for link building and go more for contextual links (blogging, article marketing, press releases and etc) as well as with some social bookmarks and etc.

My SEO trick (I should say "strategy") for 2013 is to target all long tail/low search keywords, and as many as possible. I am done playing google games for more competitive keywords, and its just not worth my time. Too much dancing, too unpredictable, and I obviously lack the experience to do it right. But long tail keywords are something I can do fairly well.

Then my second strategy will be ranking YT videos for those same keywords. =] (you got to follow the path of least resistance imo)

Google has been teaching it to make more human-like decisions about the quality of content. They had human proofreaders read mountains of content and make decisions about the quality of that content, then they used the common factors in those results to design a more complex automated decision making program. At least they say they did, I still see plenty of spam blogs riding high in the SERPs

I also agree with all the above comments. With the changes made by Google, it is safe to focus on getting quality links like links from articles (link wheel, press release and guest posting), bookmarking, and also mix these with SMM campaign.

Also, do not forget to track your linkbuilding efforts. Tracking our campaign will provide you with ideas on how you can improve in terms of your on page SEO as well as off page SEO efforts.

In order to gain traffic and bring your website to the top results over major search engines like google, there are a few measures that could prove to be effective.
The choice of the correct keywords plays a major role in bringing your website to appear in the search results. Directory submission and social bookmarking should be carried out. To draw traffic towards your website, it is important to give your site as many back links as possible. This could be achieved by submitting press release, articles, forum posts and blog commenting. Making the correct use of social media and google adworks also works on enhancing the site's rank over search engines.

Remember to never over optimize your website by any means.

I think there is a big update going to happen soon.

However, we should stick with basic, providing quality work, it would work for all times.

Think of ehow, about.com how they are not affected from any search engine updates.

It amazes me that some of the people on Warrior Forum will reply with garbage that will get User:'Subbun' penalised from the search engines. The best thing to do is type into Google 'white hat seo techniuqes 2013'. Results there will give you the real answers.

Bare in mind that results do take time but they will be long lasting.

I seriously don't even remember when the last time was that I ever went seeking links back to any site I own.

The goal is to create a website that people will be searching for by name! It's called branding; what a shocker! Market your brand and forget about chasing links and using BS automated services that would only tank your site eventually. That's how you annihilate the competition is by creating a brand that is better than they are.

You'll make a lot more money in the end by a seriously awesome marketing campaign than you ever will wasting precious time trying to manipulate the SERPs. Forget about search engines and think about your brand so that search engines will WANT to rank you!

There's no better reward than one day you notice that people are searching for your site by name; seriously.

And you're the one bitching about bad advice?

      SEO 2013

Build your own blog network of aged domains, divided over several hosting with a good backlink profile and different PR (From 2 to 8) , don't use the ones that people offer links on, most of them will be gone within a year of buying the links.

Create a web 2.0 network of at least 20 different properties (Hubpages, Livejournal, Squidoo etc) in your niche, don't use tools like Senuke to create crap, but get anVA that builds real web 2.0 properties with a lot of content so it will gain the trusted/authority status in the SE, this will make the backlinks very valuable....

Create a video channel on youtube and have a view review videos running, don't speak English that well, go to fiverr and have someone do a voiceover for you (i use this guy) create 10/15 different video's and use them on your web 2.0 propperties

Link those video's and Web 2.0 with low level backlinks like scrapebox/Xrumer/Senuke links

      See how that goes...

One comment about the content, I read a lot of folks chanting the "write great content" mantra, write content for your visitors not the SE, SE can't read, some people seem to believe that perfectly written content is going to rank you higher then content that is not grammatically perfect (like mine )

That is not the case, so write for your audience who will forgive you your grammar imperfection if the information is solid and helps them further...

      Good luck.

              B) keep pushing it missy/mister (lol) and I may very well rank it for you. Its not like it would take much

Nah I just saw a back link opportunity from a high relevant page, can't miss out on those right.

You know what actually bothers me? That my threads are ranking real poor in Google, yeah no wonder when a sales thread is based on 6-8 images only. Do you think I can add an alt tag to those images?

I hear that if you buy 5 VPS accounts and install Xrumer and SenukeXcr (using full monty blast) and run them day and night sending out links max multi thread you will rank that sales page of yours in a jiffy

Something like two million backlinks but in as fast a time as your VPS allows. It causes a momentary short in one of Googles servers in the east wing and BAM you are in business. keep that info on the down low though.

If you want as a longtime member I will throw the links your way (I like giving back to WF) just say the word. I won't make the fact that we both offer SEO hold me back from this act of charity even for a moment.

There's several approaches that work very well right now depending on the type of site you want to create:

      1. Make a brand name authority site. Write articles targeting long tail keywords. Minimal offsite SEO is needed and you'll be immune to Google since this is the type of site they love.

      2. Or use the churn and burn approach. Get an aged domain (very important) and blast it with spam. Bank hard until you get penalized. Every site in the payday loan niche is currently ranking this way. I would suggest finding high paying, low comp, longtail keywords to target with this approach. Think loans, insurance, forex, gambling, health etc.

      3. Microniche EMD sites still work if you target very low comp keywords and don't over-optimize your SEO. I'm still able to rank thin EMDs with little to no backlinks using this approach.

Hope that gave you some ideas. Good luck!

When you think about it, there is not much to remember. If you want a site that ranks well build it with a lot of good useful content. It is really that simple. google targets low quality sites and low quality baclinks so just ask yourself, is this something that i feel comfortable explaining to google if asked to do so before you go down either path.

You are far better off creating content for your website than trying to build hundreds of backlinks. A big reason why people fail is that they cannot generate enough content. If a niche is worthwhile then plan on putting in hours everyday to content generation. Do that everyday for three months and I guarantee you will get good results.

Google says- Content is King and links are drivers. Why content is king, let's discuss upon a fine example. "Warrior Forum" one of the most popular SEO forum, why so popular? Because these guys maintain high quality of contents here. A lot of fresh contents is updated on daily basis here and forum guys, to maintain the high quality, keep filtering it by their hard work. This is the reason they are on the top. So first of all focus more on quality contents in your website.

2nd thing- the high PR back links. Don't focus on quantity of links. Get 10 links per day but should be relevant and of high PR. A variety of links will be good. You can work upon the below ideas-
    1. Article & press release submission on high PR sites. 1*15 ratio would be fine.
    2. High PR social book marking
    3. Blog wheel
    4. Article prism
    5. High PR forum posting
    6. RSS feed of links
    8. Social Media links
    9. High PR directory submissions

It's time to focus more on quality rather than quantity.

so much commotion here.. i dont even know why people still bother trying to rank adsense microniche sites, is anyone still making money off it with organic traffic?

also.. if you are really into your site and you LOVE your website, you should promote it the natural way, dont think like a SEO expert. Think as a regular guy who is really excited about a website, write real comments on very related blogs, screw the anchor text aslong as you get approved. Getting a comment approved on a massive traffic blog, even with a regular name instead of keyword will get you traffic as long as your comment is catchy.
Share your site with your actual real friends, ask them to share it further on etc.. dont pay people with 100k fake twitter accounts to spread it, thats pointless. bookmark your site yourself to places that you would normally go to, not some weird bookmarking sites abroad.

    thats my theory atm..

First of all u should work with your keywords, blogs, and social media. You need good keywords to advertise your page and put it on a public view, blogs to make it informative and advertise your page (don't forget good set of keywords here as well), and social media to keep your clients engaging and attract new ones. You always should go for competitors' webpages as well.

    Hello Subbun,

There is not any one single answer to your question. The latest methods and advice to achieve being on page one of Google are listed below. Update your website often using these methods and you just may be in that top ten on page one with Google.

    1. Quality Keywords

Let's start with Keywords since that is the area you mentioned. One thing that is a major factor of how high your site is ranked by Google and others is the "keyword" found by search engines. This affects your web traffic, lead generation, and conversions.

Make sure your keywords are focused, by learning how the public is searching for the goods or services you offer. Keywords are what search engines like Google and others use to determine the results. Quality and accuracy is very important.

    2. Website Content

Keep your website content focused on your specific product or service. This may include text, pictures, videos, tools, applications, and products that pertain to your business.

    3. Backlinks Give Direction

Google's bots crawl the web from link to link, and that link is pointing to a page on your website. Links are the trail that leads Google's bots to your website.

    4. Add Social Media

Bring recognition and raise your rankings by adding Social Media like Facebook and
Twitter. Digg, Reddit, and Stumbleupon will also give your website a boost.

    5. Create a Niche

Working with a niche will give your website increased visibility to search engines. In a niche-based market, competition is considerably reduced, which is a major business advantage.

This information should give you the answer you have been looking for.

I choose low competition keywords who have maximum search for month locally and globaly. Then I do off page seo on those keyword. then they help me to get top in ranked in search engine.

Do keyword research first. Choose kw with not more than 3k local searches and low competition- less than 500k when you do the search in G.
