What I have learned studying Google and aged domains:

I was thinking and have been doing a ton of research lately and things are finally started to sink in. I have been doing a lot of research on aged domains and private blog networks. Now we all know the easiest way to create a private blog network is to go online and buy aged PR domains with say a pr of 4 and get 20 of these sites and put up content to these sites and then shoot links to our money sites. This seems like an easy way to push ranking up for medium keywords to money sites.

The questions I have, isn't Google going to somehow eventually catch on? For example if one buys a 12 year old age domain with a pr of 6 and then just puts up the same content as the site had before and then shoots a random link to a money site I feel like google could catch up some how to this and eventually figure it out and once they do this everyone's private networks will go down. Is it just a matter of time before this happens....

Also I have noticed that most sites that are ranking for specific keywords are authority sites and its one of the subpages that rank on the first page. Nearly all the keyword I have been researching which are in the credit card processing nice are all appearing under a super authority's site sub pages. One such site I toptenreviews.com. the main root site has a pr of 7 and is super strong..

I think Google really favors super authority sites that are older. And then ranks all there subdomains for the various keywords. Most of the super authority sites don't even do seo for their inner page and they still rank very well for competitive keywords. I don't even think these super authority sites are trying to rank for these super competitive keyword but they do since there site has such authority. I think in 2013 we should be figuring out how to build super authority sites with subpages that contain our keywords. This is the most natural thing to happen in "nature" and google Is rewarding sites like this for all keywords in the sub pages.

The question becomes how do we build super authority sites?
can we buy a 13 year old pr 7 domain and achieve these great results as a super authority site like toptenreviews.com?

I think it will be hard to figure out because if we change the content on the super authority site it could potentially get penalized. The best thing would be to buy an aged domain that is in the same niche you are going after but that could be impossible.

So the question is how do we turn an aged domain with different content into a super authority site with the content and keyword we want to target?
