What if someone clicks through and buys later or elsewhere?

Hi there

I am doing a beauty product campaign

- social network ads > my landing page > offer page

If someone clicks through to the offer page but rather than buying, goes back to Google and starts researching the product elsewhere - but then buys the product from the main website for the product (not the offer page) do i still get the credit? Or would they have to come back to the same offer page and buy from there (either via my LP or a bookmark of it or the offer page)?

(apparently there's a 60 day cookie on this offer - but I have no idea how that works!)

    most of the time these cookies works because you will hardly find any technical guys in beauty niche. Just make sure they do click the link otherwise the cookie is not stored and if they read presell - DO NOT click on any link - close the page and then research it elsewhere then you lose sales.

    But why not make it sound better? Like - go research it elsewhere but comeback and buy through this link and then get a free ebook or beauty tip guide for free ? Ask them for email for confirmation and deliver them the goodie.
