Backlinks not showing up in ahrefs.com?

HI,

I have created many backlinks over the course of last 15 days, yet ahrefs only shows 1 backlink. Backlinkwatch says i have 0. What's happening?

    see bro 15 days will do nothing its takes time to index links some are index faster its depends on the quality of links.

    A backlink could take sometimes months (even years) to be indexed by google. Only then it could be counted as your backlink... Ahrefs can't show you something that you don't "have" -> according to big G

      but the links i've been making are on high pr sites. don't these get indexed very fast? even my ezine article links are not showing

        Typically they get indexed fast, yes. But something showing up or not showing up in Ahrefs does not mean it is or is not indexed.

        Ahrefs has nothing to do with search engines.

    ahrefs is not google, remember that, it's a 3rd party crawler. so is everything else not google.

    Happens a lot. Check back in say 1-3 months you should see more links showing up.

    Check your backlinks in Google.... If you are using any tool... you can check after a month or so. Then you could possibly see some of the backlinks.(If they haven't been deleted )

    go to google and try site:<backlink url> and see its listing , so you will be sure whether it is indexed or not. ahrefs will crawl and get it a bit later.

    ahrefs sometimes takes more than 15 days to show backlinks on portal. Its strange but I dont know.
