I had an squeeze page that I used with adwords.

I had like 100 opt in per day for the last 60 days.

But today I got an email from Google telling that I can't use a site JUST TO GET USERS INFORMATIONS and my site was banned from ADWORDS.

Anybody can help me please?

You are just one of many, including myself. Banking eggs with Google is a no-no.

You can contact them but I wouldn't expect too much.

I suggest exploring Bing as a substitute.

Actually there is help. I was able to get in contact with a rep and they told me how to get my account back in good graces with them.

Basically you need to fix your site up "first" to comply with their policies and then you have to resubmit it for review. They wont care how good of a squeeze page is, if it doesn't comply they won't even consider reviewing it. Change everything first.

I tried calling them on the phone but its hell getting through and most of the time they'll tell you they have no control over it, which they don't. Email takes a million years for a response. You'll drive yourself crazy checking your inbox everyday for an email from Google.

      This is what I did...

      1. Go to your adwords account and click the link that directs you to your violation.
      2. Click the Contact Us link and find the chat online link.

You can connect directly with a rep that you can give access to your adwords account and they will be able to go in on their side and tell you exactly what the problem is and what you need to do or what site you need to fix in order for it to be expedited for review.

Make sure to ask for email from the rep you are chatting with so that when you are finished with changes you can email him directly. You want to do this because that rep will already be familiar with what the problem was, and what changes were made. They'll be able to vouch for you when your account goes up for review.

      Hope this helps!

There is no help. Google does not allow AdWords to be used to collect email addresses. You need to change your landing page.

It is possible to have a landing page with a lot of useful content and a newsletter subscription form to the side. The main purpose of the page needs to provide the information the visitor is looking for.

NEVER put all of your eggs into one basket. Doing so is simply inviting an accident to happen. Next time focus on diversifying your traffic sources.

People are still throwing money at Adwords? IMO it hasn't been a viable advertising source for like three years.

that's a shame, I know some people who is using adwords to build a list and only one week before ban notice hit them. you should change your strategy, don't use adwords, but you can use paid traffic instead. It is almost the same with adwords, except it is more effective when you find the right one.

      LOL

Thanks for saying this, I have been trying to get all of my competitors to quit advertising on AdWords. Please spread the word to all of my competitors to quit advertising on AdWords, they are just a nuisance to me and I'd like them to stop.

Obviously, the day AdWords becomes no longer viable is the day that Google files for bankruptcy. But don't worry folks, I will gladly pickup the leftover ad space just to keep Google in the black, so all you competitors "Get out of AdWords now!" Thank you.

Though its definitely not for everyone The day Adwords is truly seen by their users as being no longer viable Google itslef might choose to close down. Where do people think Google gets the bulk of their money? AInt going to happen because if it even started slipping Google would move two or three more results over to the organic column pushing organic even further down the page

Sheesh the things you read here. Look at this thread . The entire thread is about asking why I got banned for violating a well known policy of a company. Read the TOS?

A small price to pay for 600 odd subscribers, must've been a great lander.

Get a trusted friend or family member to open a new account for you, it's seems unlikely you will get yours back.

      100 a day for 60 days is 6,000.

He didn't lose his account - the site was banned.

Google doesn't want you to collect emails because they don't get paid again after you do.

Yes,you are supposed to change your landing page.Google does not allow to collect personal information and if it does then there are few limitations. It would be better,if you read Google adword guidelines first.

Google doesn't allow squeeze pages. Here is what I would do: Create a very informative and high quality landing page with tons of unique content and maybe 1 or 2 YouTube videos. Towards the end of your landing page, or on the sidebar you can add an optin form - Google is fine with that as long as you provide great, unique content.

Use your landing page to presell the report you are giving away (or whatever it is you give away) - incite your readers to signup for your newsletter, to download your report... or whatever.

You can use something like: I can't go into all the details in this short article, but you get all the information in my XYZ report and I will show you exactly how you can do ABC... To get immediate access to the report, just provide your details below (or on the sidebar form...)

Your signup rate will go down, but the quality of your signups will increase and with a great presell page you will get more potential buyers than with a simple squeeze page.

It's all about the quality of your list and not the quantity.

Once you made the changes, call Google, tell them you are sorry about your mistake, let them know that you created a highly informative site that's truly valuable for Google's customers and ask them to take a look again.

the problem, is, you need some meat on your site (good quality content) and you site should not look too much like a pure affiliate site with little value.

If you can do this, I'm pretty sure, Google will allow you back in.

It's a bit of work, but it is well worth it. And if you can get a top quality score, you still can get relatively cheap traffic from Google - even in competitive markets.

try media buys, larger reach than google and no silly rules regarding squeeze pages

yup go for media buys. You can go big with a decent revenue and they do allow optin pages and simple landing pages. If you do want to continue with adwords and review sites are a hint for new rules

One way is to build up your site with good content to gain back google trust.
You can always have some links in your sites linking to your squeeze page.

Other methods to boast up your list:
    1. Forum marketing
    2. Media buys/ banners
    3. Solo ads
    4. Ad swaps
    5. Blogging
    6. Articles marketing
    7. Video marketing
    8. Podcasting
    9. Shareslide
    10. Document sharing
    11. Social bookmarking

    I am sure this works.

Let me tell you guys something. I not only invest time into Adwords - but also Bing (Yahoo) and FB ads. All three of them. Bing is pretty good and little cheaper. You won't get as much traffic obviously.

You could use Bing Adcenter. They're much more lenient.

Or you could get around the Adword restriction by selling an ebook or similar product for $0.99 or so to gather emails.

Google doesn't allow a squeeze page with adwords. But there are ways around it.

The most popular non-landing page landing page is the double your dating site. Just a simple site with a video, some articles and a opt-in form. And I'm sure it converts like crazy.

So just add other elements to your sire and google should allow your site back in.

AdWords, AdWords, AdWords... Always that AdWords. I leave it long time ago when my AdSense account was banned.
I still keep my account live because need it for some keyword search software but for PPC I use 7search and Facebook ads.
Google is so strict in their rules and also soooooo expensive in confront of other networks.
I know also that traffic quality is better but if you know how to set up squeeze page with an catchy headline Im sure you will not need adwords any more.

Google's more strict about enforcing policies in the IM/Make Money niche than just about any other vertical, so your typical IM squeeze page won't cut it. In a different sort of industry, what you have may not have ever been flagged (I've seen some GREAT squeeze pages in the mortgage industry that Adwords LOVES).

If you're intent on trying it for IM, make sure to make the lander look as much like a REAL BUSINESS as possible (links to Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, more text content, etc.). It's still possible to do fantastic lander that Adwords will be ok with, you'll just have to rework the page to give more value and submit for reconsideration.

I see a ton of inexperienced Adwords Advertisers chiming in here with complete ridiculous answers and speculation. I'm Adwords Certified for 5 years now with a multitude of clients and I'm a whitelisted Agency partner with the Google Affiliate Network.

Seriously, they didn't ban you and kill the squeeze page BECAUSE OF the squeeze page. They got rid of you because your site sucked. I know this and I don't even have to look at your website. Information harvesting is because too many advertisers try to build squeeze pages with out any regard to their overall web presence and website.

Fix your website into an authority machine and you will be able to launch all the squeeze pages you want.

Adwords done the wrong way is a money pit...done the right way it's a gold mine. It definitely works better for some verticals than for others, but a properly optimized Adwords campaign combined with a high-quality lander is still money in just about any industry.
