        Rahul:- you should only post strategies that work otherwise it makes you look like an idiot.

        There's nothing wrong with taking ideas off the Internet but you have to be certain they work. There is absolutely no point dropping "hints" like this (that clearly don't work). I have tested it and what you say doesn't make any sense.

        I'm not having a go at you but bear this in my mind before you post something similar in the future. Remember, IM is about adding value.

    It's creating a link on a dynamic page on YouTube, which will be PR 0. It doesn't work. It's as useless as that old Tumblr trick for creating high PR pages.

      Btw - that Tumblr trick was pretty bullet when it worked. I was getting PR6 links on tap! I doesn't work anymore.

        Far too many people talked about it and/or tried to sell the information to others. Tumblr caught on. If people had kept their big mouths shut, it would still be viable today.

        And what is really sad is there are still people trying to sell the idea to noobs that don't know any better.

          Even when the likes and reblogs were dofollow it was hardly effective from an SEO point of view. Tested it numerous times back then.

            It was effective in that you could create high pr domains with it for next to nothing.

              That's true, I only linked directly from Tumblr and it didn't do a thing to the rankings. Perhaps when funneling the juice to multiple domains (IP's) that it might have worked.

                Yeah. I used to buy brand new domains. Set them up on the Tumblr account. Then use the reblog trick to get a bunch of high PR links pointing to it. Take it off the Tumblr account, and the links still point to the domain.

                Instant PR 3's and 4's to play with.

                Tumblr caught on though.

    I dont get why the links are no follow anyway is youtube trying to game the system and keep link juice..lol well its true youtube users are what make the videos and give them value so shouldnt it only be fair that youtube takes it into account that the user who submitted the value is linking to a valuable link in the description that the user thought would be helpful.
