What is a "page backlink" vs. a "domain backlink?" Is one better? One of my sites has 507 page BLs, and 506 domain BLs. How do I create one vs the other when I make backlinks with anchor text?

Confused,
Amy Kay

    Hi AmyKay,

Technically speaking, all backlinks are "page backlinks".

I will assume that you are using some sort of tool that lists those numbers separately without explaining the difference. If I were to guess I would say that "domain backlinks" are probably the number of backlinks to all pages within that domain and that "page backlinks" is the number of backlinks to the specific page you are checking. That is how most tools separate them, however, they could be referring to links from within that domain (internal links) verses links from all domains (internal and external links).
