Optimising SEO - New E-Commerce Site

Hello guys,

After finally completing our coding and site structure we are onto the stage of adding products, finalizing images and making our site SEO optimal. We are using magento, so can take advantage of a range of extensions and tools, however I have some questions:

1) The site is related to a brand, and all products sold on the site belong to that brand and are quite similar. We are wondering how to structure our URLs for products.
As the brand name is in the URL, should we also add this again after the forward slash?
Should we add any descriptive information about the product in the title, or just the unique product name?
From what I have seen it is best not to use categories in magento? Is this advice still the same?

2) We may wish to place images in the description, is there an optimal place to put an image, for example top, middle or bottom of the text?

3) Do you have any tips or advice in regards to SEO optimization on a new eCommerce site? We have had hand written descriptions & meta of each product done, we have a forum up and running and are possibly thinking of doing a news feed in the near future.

    Ans: You can get the domains as
    http://yourdomainname.com/brandname-productname

    Ans: Placement of images doest matter for search engines

    Ans: You can use H1 and H2 tags, your H1, H2 tags should have your keywords that shoul be in title and description.
    Go for long tail seo for low competition keywords..
