    Acquiring a link from an actual PR6 page would probably have a dramatic impact on your rankings. Having incoming links from a site with PR6 carries more weight and credibility than from a site with pr2 or pr3. Therefore backlinking with authority sites means passing of authority, and authority brings solid backlinks, which brings better rankings.
