You must have done some mistake. I have been creating Squidoo lens for years now... Never had such a problem.

Squidoo has two limits for outbound links.

Only 9 to the same domain. This does not include popular,
good domains like amazon, about. etc. However, I believe
if you try and publish it, it gets locked. Not sure if you
      get any warning.

Second, they have blacklisted spammed domains. So, if you
are trying to add a link to one of those, I believe you will
get a warning and not be allowed to publish it.

If neither of those is the case, then your coding is bad,
or, there is a glitch in the module you are using. There
are numerous glitches that happen daily, get fixed, wash,
      rinse, repeat.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

Hmm.... here is what I think may be going on.....

Every now and then, I will mess up my code a little bit. I will forget to put a " > " or a " / " in the right place... when that happens it may look just fine when I preview the lens, but after I publish it...... it looks all crazy;0)

I have built lots and lots of lenses and it happens to me every now and then. At first glance, my syntax looks just fine.... but looking a little closer usually reveals a mistake.

Try slapping your code into an html editor or just stick it into a wordpress blog post editor to see how it renders.

          Hope this helps!
