I'm moving my e-commerce site from one platform to another which will result in different URLs for all pages and images.

I currently get a lot of traffic from search results via Google Image searches and obviously want to keep that traffic. I've got somewhere in the region of 27,000 images on my site and I'm keep to get the redirect working in a just a couple of lines of code in the .htaccess file

This is the current URL syntax:

www.mysite.com/images/imagename.jpg

This is the new URL syntax

www.mysite.com/media/imagename.jpg

How would I get that in the redirect command? Also is there any way of getting a list of the images that can be found when you go to Google image search and type in site:mysite.com? I'm quite sure that most of my 27,000 aren't indexed. I'd like to get a better idea of which ones are indexed

Thanks!
