After the Two major Google updates, "Panda & Penguin " there are lots of low quality websites and Spammer's sites are ranking High on Search Engine Result Pages...

Let them rank, but don't do any black hat SEO..

I assume there is some weaknesses in Google too, but it is recovering very fast.

It's not uncommon for spammy sites to rank high and fast, but for a short amount of time. Some people base their entire business model around targeting trends, putting together sites, blasting the crap out of them with links, and moving on. Once Google catches on they're already 3 sites ahead.

  I highly, HIGHLY doubt Google purposely places crappy sites at the top of page 1 just to get people to click on ads instead.

  Come one people. REAL people do not search for the crap that you
  put out. So if you search for samsung galaxy review site for
  left handers....you will get crap results. And sadly, that's
  what the majority of you people put out. You start a WP
  blog, and do 50 unique crappy posts on why someone should
  buy an apple ipad or kindle from amazon. Then claim the top
  spots are craps. Well, that niche is crap.
  
  And then we have the SEO gurus complaining. Well, sorry folks.
  You can't have it both ways. You cannot claim to get
  every Tom, Dick, and Harry in the top if you continue to claim
  that google just puts crap sites in the top. That means you
  either can't beat them, or, the sites are crap.
  
  If you people would seriously clean up your act, and do
  something truly unique instead of WP for some micro niche
  that is just ripe for spam, scam, and otherwise junk, you
  may actually get somewhere. But, no. You just don't know
  why another WP niche amazon review site just doesn't
  make google's cut. Imagine that.

Same here. lots of bad search results these days. Very crazy stuff. I think Google might be dying slowly. Or try another strategy to make more money from PPC adwords which clearly doesn't work.

Let see how to goes, if it continues to be like this in a month or more. I'm sure it's the end.

Even I am seeing this trend. Sites like booeek561, menangebodinenem etc are ranking quite high for certain keywords, while the authority sites are pretty down! It could be temporary though.

Lol guys what are you using as seed keyword to find all those crappy sites?

- Very longtail Adsense type of keywords

When I search for products or other real keywords I only see authority type of sites show up (well mostly).

same here , i find out lot of classified , blog , article site are actually rank on the top instead of the official site that who are selling those product. And even some of the old content able to rank that high .

I see spam websites that rank and stay for keywords in the tens of thousands search volume... that arent trends............. but i think they stay there because once there up there they get so much traffic and loads of tweets and google pluss and whatnot that they have stuck.... So in other words no matter what a whitehat can do these spammer who got to the top first will now stay there........great....

I was doing research on a guitar today and the top 3 sites were either Amazon or commercialized stores like Amazon, the manufactures website was located in the middle of page #2. I found that odd. I checked it on duckduckgo.com and the manufacture website was #1, then useful reviews were below the official website. Duckduckgo.com is doing it right.
