Hi,

Could anybody recommend some cheap web hosting for a PBN that you can pay monthly?

The ones I am trying that look cheap advertise the price as a monthly fee but when it comes to paying you have to pay the whole year in full?

Thanks,
Dan

If you're planning to host only one domain for the start, you can try HostGator's starter plan. They are a fantastic company and you can easily expand your account for an affordable monthly investment.

I've been using them for 7+ years, and their customer support has always been patient and helpful.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I've already got my main sites with Hostgator and have found them to be really good.

I'm looking for some cheap shared hosting packages as I'm venturing into the Private Blog Network world. Has anybody got any recommendations that you can preferably pay monthly??

    Thanks,
    Dan

For a private blog network you're not going to want shared hosting.

That seems to conflict with the advice on a lot of other threads where this is discussed.

My take on it is to have lots of shared hosting packages rather than using SEO hosting as these are picked up by Google.

          Bingo.

Though IP has no positive effects on sites, some "bad neighborhoods" (ie "SEO" hosts!) can have negatives ones.

I wish people would realize this, and stop the "C class" (myth) crap. Just find a good host, make good content people want, and do non-IP SEO tasks to the site. It's all it takes to rank well.

It's the ones making crap and trying to trick Google (and failing) that believe this nonsense.

"Blog network" these days tends to be code words for link schemes that try to trick Google, using varied IPs. But none of that stuff works. You'd do just as well focusing on a single useful site, as opposed to a "network" of junk sites.

You're only wasting time, money, and harming your own sites in the process.

        Yes you do.

Just host each site on a different host (not different class-C IP...a different HOST).

What's the alternative? VPS or dedi for each site in your network?

I'm no cheapskate but that's too expensive. And it's not necessary.

    NoSupportLinuxHosting is a buck. $1

If you want support, Stablehost has $2 plans annually.
(If $24 is too much to spend, you got bigger issues than hosting!)
