I work full time doing internet marketing for a large manufacturer and have also recently started a marketing agency. One of my clients has recently had a major PR issue which involved a major amount of bad press. When you Google this clients name 5 of the top 10 Google results refer to this incident. While my client knows it is impossible to have all of this erased from the internet, they would like to make sure it is not on the first page.
I thought while doing this job for my client it may be interesting to use different SEO and backlinking strategies and share my results here. Below is my current plan for the different pages. Feedback and input is welcome.
Current Top 10 Sites: Manual backlinks from forums, blog comments, article submission and on-page SEO improvements.
Site 6: 3 Fiverr backlink gigs, 1 per week.
Site 7: Social media links only
Site 8: Directory submission only
Site 9: Blog commenting only
Site 10: Article submission only
