Where/how do you host legit high PR sites?

Hey guys,

Over the last few weeks I have been buying some real high PR domains in order to build my own private network. Right now I have those domains:

3xPR3
6xPR4
4xPR5
3xPR6
2xPR7

As you can see, it's 18 domains with real backlinks. I believe this is enough to rank some low competiton keywords/sites with additional backlinks.

1) All those sites end with .lv (latvia), .fi (finland) and .ee (estonia). The previous content on the domains were mostly in the foreign language. They have ALOT backlinks from reputable sites (few .edu and .gov as well). Is it ok to add NEW content in english? Or should I keep them in the "original" language?

2) How should I host them? I see many people dislike C-class ips or seo hosting, so maybe I should put them on all SEPERATED shared hosts? I really don't want to get my PR7 deindexed ..Like hostgator, namecheap, bluehost etc? Or is it ok to just buy different IP's for like $2-$3 per month?

I would host all of them on seperated hosts as you said. I would change the content to english if I want to rank an english language site, but im not sure if its harmful.

Make your sites to look natural, don't use only one CMS for them. Make them look like they are real websites, with real and USEFUL content, so you will be safe.

    Good luck!

Thanks for your input.. Yeah, when I go with the route that I make them all in english, I would probably make some of the sites in drupal, joomla, wp and pure html... The only thing I'm worried about is changing the language...

I would also try to add those high PR domains on seperated hosts, if not all, then PR5+ sites. Google search is your friend, use this search query: "shared hosting, paypal". In that way you can easily manage your subscriptions and stuff.

If the pagerank on these sites is legit then this must have cost you an absolute fortune! Decent PR6s can go for upwards of a thousand dollars with PR7s costing even more.

Assuming that they are real then in answer to your questions:

    1. I would just add new content in english. Trying to recreate the original content and pretending to be the original site can see you running into issues. Also, if you're linking out to money sites you also want the content to be related to these and this will be difficult to do if writing in a different language.

    2. I would avoid SEO hosting. Have a look for cheap shared hosting companies (webhosting talk forum is a good place to find these for around $3 a month) and seperate them out across different hosting plans.

Definitely host the higher PRs (PR4 and above) each on their own shared hosting account.
Also, assuming the PR6s and PR7s are legit, I don't recommend pointing those directly to the sites you want to rank. Instead use them to bulk up the authority of other sites you own that are pointing to the sites you want to rank. Or use them to create new high PR sites you can later use as well.

That's an interesting idea. Although it requires more job.

I use this strategy with my own PR6+ domains - point them to other sites that are pointing to my money sites to build up their authority and PR- with great success. Be careful when linking them up to not create a path that Google can figure out that all your sites are linked together.

I would host those in Europe, not USA.
The speed factor of Google comes into play here, and it's measured from Europe for those TLDs.
Consider EuroVPS -- they have great shared plans, not too expensive at all.
    Or Stablehost's EU server plans.
