Has anyone noticed wrong reporting in there Amazon Associates panel from yesterday, I average around 100-200 clicks a day, but was reported as 1 yesterday.

Its an obvious error as the traffic has stayed the same. Anyone else had a similar problem today?

I am a UK Amazon Associate

Same thing happening to my sites and sales have become none existentent.

Another thread on here yesterday with other affiliates saying they are having problems.

Just wondering if Google are at it again with their Panda updates, they do hate affiliate marketing you know

But if your traffic has stayed the same check your affiliate links.

A couple of weeks ago one of my sites got hacked and i lost two years of hard work.

Its nothing to do with Google my problem, the traffic is the same. It just seems Amazon are not reporting all the clicks for yesterday.

    Amazon have updated their TOS.

For the last few months Amazon was updating
    their Operating Agreement and TOS.
These changes also introduced some products that affiliates are
    not supposed to promote.
At first it was just a few products (October 2012) but the list
grew the following months and now it's got 26 products plus
    certain marketplaces and product types.
Here's the full list if you want to check it out
    https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...ing/exclusions

Another interesting point is whether or not
affiliates are allowed to post affiliate links on social
networking sites like Facebook or Twitter.
In the program requirements in operating agreement
    it clearly says
"you will not use, or enable or facilitate the use of, Content on or within any application, platform, site, or service (including social networking sites) that requires you to sublicense or otherwise give any rights in or to any Content to any other person or entity, nor will you create links formatted with your Associate's tag for, or display such links on, a site that is not your site."

However if you login to your affiliate dashboard
and go to amazon.com - in the top bar you will find
'share on twitter' and 'share on facebook' buttons.
So it's kind of a double standard for Amazon and looks
like there's a disconnect between their affiliate and
    legal team

This info was in an email I got today?

What the heck, how we have to figure this out:

    any product or service sold on a site linked to from the Amazon Site (e.g., a product or service listed through our “Product Ads” program or sold on a site linked to from a banner ad, sponsored link, or other link displayed on the Amazon Site);

Means we have to check their database of paid advertiserse 24/7? What a bullshit.

I think it is a big push to stop people direct linking from social bots. Good news for me! But bad for others.

I use my own custom links from my site to Amazon, I just add my tag to the url. Does this mean I cannot do this any more or what? I am confused... I have to use there own link maker thing? I am linking on my sites only.

"nor will you create links formatted with your Associate's tag for, or display such links on, a site that is not your site.""

I just checked with there link checker thing in the control panel and said its fine, I have no idea why only 1 click was reported yesterday. When I know there were more for a fact. Hopefully its just a one off bug.

Will be interesting to see tomorrows report.
