i have over a thousand unique articles ready to be posted on a website...

however, not quite sure where to place some on this website.

should I put most of these articles on a drop down menu OR

should I make a page of links going to these articles... therefore making these articles like a third level ( you have your index page, then to your page of links, that will link to each article from there).

I am seeing that having the articles in the menus get index much quicker

what would you guys do?

    Search for "silo site", or just look at how other large sites organize their articles. For example the bbc, or some other news sites.

    Why don't you adopt something like directory/blog theme ?

    Go step wise, use some articles for guest posting for backlinks on reputed blogs, wiki sites.

    Rather than putting on one go, create a bunch of article subject wise. Then schedule posting of article.

    If it is spun articles then it is difficult to rank. You need to do on page SEO also. So prepare the strategy first and then start.

    Categorize them and put them in different websites. If some of the articles are self help books, build membership site or make squeeze page to gather list and give them as a bonus package.

    2. Schedule articles to be posted. (e.g: 2 articles per day)
    3. Create a homepage linking to those categories.
