I've tried to follow the steps in

I've finally come up with my first keyword, these are the specs:
Exact:
Global monthly searches: 2,900
Local monthal searchers: 1,900
When I type my keyword in quotes for example: "warriorforum" in google
113,000 Results are found
(this is how I judge my competition right? )
I have three questions:
Is this a good keyword to go for in adwords PPC?
Is there anything I should add to the criteria?
If this is a good keyword, I just make an AD, and link them to the offer correct?
