Do spam comments in my PBN dilute my own outbound links?

Hiya all,

Just looking at the backend of our Wordpress blog sites and we have an awful lot of spam comments waiting to be approved.

As we currently have some concern as to the number of links from our blogs to our money site, would allowing these comments dilute our links in any effective way?

    followed comments? - yes definitely. Thats why you will get slammed - they are all hoping they can get some of your juice

      But is this a good thing?

      Will it lessen my footprint in the eyes of Big G if I have lots more links to other places going out from by blog, along with the links to my money site.

      Or is all talk of dilution moot anyway, as I am adding lots of links to the same money site on each of my blogsites and this is a bad thing regardless of how many other links are there.

        If its like what most people get then its spam links which is going to do nothing good for you

          Just delete all the spam comments...why would you want to allow them? They are usually written extremely poorly and will not help your site rank. If you are exceptionally desperate for content then turn off all the links in the comment fields.

        How in the world can it be a good thing to put even more links on a page because you are already linking to your money site? Like everything in life if something is bad adding more of the bad doesn't do anything but make things worse.

    When a manual reviewer see's that you link out from half of the posts to your same website. Do you think that reviewer would look differently at it when he/she see's that you have spammy blog comments?

      This is sorta what I meant. WOuld only a manual review reveal this though?

        Honestly I think so yes, cause that person I talked about before is getting away with it for a long time already, he only got busted once. So it must've been a manual review, not some algorithm thing.
