I have no idea how my services have been listed here i did'nt sign up to their website, (none of my emails accounts are registered) the other week it was at about 4k thinking it was a glitch i left it alone and now its gone up again! This is surely going to get me slapped by Google or do more harm then good right? how can i remove this?

i have dropped another 3 places in google since this has jumped up again, is it because of this?

If you are REALLY worried about the links, just use the disavow tool. https://www.google.com/webmasters/to...nks-main?pli=1

That said, are you sure they are having a negative impact on visibility? Lot's of scraper sites will pick up and link to your domain for all sorts of reasons, site wide links numbering thousands are not uncommon.

i was mainly concerned with having 29 thousand links pointing tomy homepage from just the one site having a massive negative effect on my rankings or getting me de-indexed altogether?

i have progressivley dropped rankings in google twice in the last few days

You can contact the webmaster of that site and ask him/her to remove your link from the site.

i have contacted their webmaster and asked for it to be taken down,

they are all PR N/A so i was assuming they would do more harm than good when it comes to helping me rank

Why? Just use the disavow tool, at least try it first.

I think this is being based on a relatively loose correlation between these links which have been posted by an independent webmaster and the ranking slips which have occurred - have you isolated all variables? i.e. is there anything else it could be? My guess would be there is.

Don't use the disavow tool. Complete waste of time. Have not seen one single case of it having any impact at all yet for anyone.

To the OP, probably what happened is your site was picked up by them and included in their listings. They probably have a "recent listings" kind of plugin running. Google just happened to visit at the time when your site was one of the "recent listings".

It will work it self out the next time their spider visits. I would not worry about it.

Especially the latter you should have more than them.
Number of backlinks is pretty much meaningless. Simply having more does not mean you will outrank anything.
