Applying for Adsense with an ecommerce site?

Hi,

I have an ecommerce site which is about to be 4 months old right now. I am wondering if I can use it to successfully apply for an adsense account?

I don't intend to use adsense on my site though. I intend to use adsense on some wordpress blogs I shall set up. Is this possible? Does Google allow someone using a website to register for adsense and then not using adsense on that site but on a new site that person just created?

What if I use adsense there as well as on my newly created sites?

By the way I'm based in Hong Kong which from what I've read requires a site of at least 6 months old.

    try reading the TOS, its your first step in applying for an adsense account anyway.

    You any use in any website, that's not a problem. If Google doesn't like your ad to display in a site then you will get a mail to remove the Ads. Don't worry, since its E Commerce there wont be any problem.

      But will they revoke my adsense membership if i don't put adsense on my site after applying for it using my site? I only intend to use it for other blogs that i have yet to set up.

    I used my ecommerce site to sign up for Adsense so I don't think they have a problem with it.

    You dont have to put adsenes on your ecommerce site. You can put it on as manay sites you want.

      Is this against their TOS? Does Google require me to use adsense on the site I applied with?

    No you don't. I applied with my ecommerce site but have never put Adsense on it. As long as the sites you use Adsense on are compliment with the TOS you will be fine.
