I am creating good video tutorials on youtube, which can really help people and in title of it writing my website name.
In description I am writing the url with the description of video.
This videos are related to coding, design, development in different languages etc.
Once this videos are created I add a blog in my website with 100-200 word content about the video and in bottom paste the video.
Once this is done i take the link of that particular article and go on social bookmarking sites and tag it there
also i find people who need answers to similar issue and than put my article there
I think I may get traffic using this but is it getting me some advantage or authority with Google
Also this videos are being embedded by 100s of websites of high pagerank automatically
I am not sure if they are considered as backlink or not though
