Needing some monetizing advice from a successful warrior please.

Ok, I need someone who is willing to spend 10 minutes with me. I made a small website for my nephew a while ago, so it was just a bit of fun for him, but when I did make it, I done research for keywords and so on.

I am ranking 5th position for a keyword which is searched 5,000 times monthly and the site is getting around 30-60 uniques daily.

I can easily get it ranking in top 3 but not sure if its worth the time or money as it's a very difficult niche site to monetize.

The adsense CPC is £0.18 and the "CTR" is very bad, I have tried amazon but no buyers either. I do have a lot of experience with IM and so on but this small niche site I made has got me BAFFLED.

I don't want to shout the site out, so if anyone is interested in giving me a quick hand please leave a message below.

I would be happy to share some of the profits with you.

    Some niches are simply hard to monetize.

    Have you considered CPA? (hard to recommend anything without knowing the niche).

      Yeah this one is a right pain. Iv not tried that yet, yeah I don't want to shout it around to be honest, it's quite a weird niche but almost impossible to monetize.

    CPA might be the go. Rather than looking at just the niche, consider the demographic of visitors and what they maybe interested in.

    youth - games
    women - fashion/weight loss
    men - dating
    poor - payday loans etc.

    I'm generalizing but you get the idea.

      This is solid advice.

      With some traffic (like people searching for "cheap car insurance"), it's always easy to monetize.

      But for niches where people are searching for general information, targeting their demographic is a smart move.

      Yeah mate, I see what you mean. I tried it with a "make money online with paid surveys" this was a clickbank product. I got some clicks too but I'd like to find a better way, if there is.

        Clickbank can be hard work. You're asking someone who is desperate for money to spend money.

        If you're not in any CPA networks at the moment, check out
        Affiliate Marketing - Find the Best Affiliate Programs and CPA Offers from OfferVault
        find some offers that suit and apply to the network.

        A network like Peerfly is good if you're starting out in CPA and want a selection of general offers.
