I am stumped!
I came up with an idea for a lens, checked the exact search matches in Google with inurl etc.. was delighted to find only 59 competing sites..
Went to Squidoo, typed in what my lens was about, was happy again cos it said I was the first to suggest that topic..
Then I discovered three other lenses about it.. one of which has a LOT of likes, squid likes, shares etc.. but it is nowhere near the first few pages of Google. It's a good enough lens.. lot of stuff in it.
I am confused why Squidoo told me I was the first but obviously I am not (is she lying to me?
) - and why a lens with such an obvious amount of linking isn't doing well in SERPs with such low competition?
