Hello Everyone,

People are giving me offer to sell text links on my site so I want to know whether selling of text links will be safe on my site or not. Please share your experienced and ideas.

You have one of the BIGGEST no-no's from google about selling links.
Take a gander at your sig link to a page called:
    Advertise Here
    Complete with cost.

Don't you realize google has bots, not humans, that make decisions?

Advertising that you are selling links is one tip off. Now if you make
a lot of cash, no problem.

But your PR will go down. Google has stated repeatedly that if you
sell links that are not nofollow, they may consider you selling PR,
thus they will lower your own PR. PR, they claim, is a trust factor.
(Just saying that cuz many blow off PR)

Here's the way you should sell links:
Don't say anywhere that you sell links.
Don't sell sitewide links, only on one single page.
Make the link high up in content.
(nofollow is optional, although most link buyers will refuse to buy one)
If you nofollow a paid link, no problem. Theoretically. I don't
abide by that theory. Google has no idea what links are paid for,
and I always thought nofollow was as useless as.....well you know.
Lamest thing google ever came up.

Word to the wise: Don't buy links that do not follow the above
    guidelines.

Buying links is actually not against google. Never has, never will.
They make billions on paid links. People just misquote.

Yes, I know. OP probably started thread to get that sig in there...
    Decent discussion anyway.

The thing is you are safe as long as Google is not able to track you that you are selling links.

I have read one article and sharing it with you about 8 ways you can safely sell links on your site without being penalized Google.
    1.Add a rel=”nofollow” attribute to the link
2.Only link to intermediate pages that include a robots.txt file
    3.Avoid “link farm” schemes
4.Negotiate link sales for the long term
5.Don’t advertise that you’re selling links
    6.Use HTML links only
7.Only link to relevant sites with quality content
8.Be selective on who you partner with for links

The only sites I ever had de-indexed were 'caught' selling text links.

If they're 'nofollow' - yes, it's safe. I've been selling 'dofollow' links on my blog for 4 years now, and my PR hasn't dropped. It's risk vs reward my friend.
