Need feedback on duplicate pages or redirect

I have my website done in wordpress recently

Website Designer - Developer | USA Web Site Design Firm | Custom CMS eCommerce Wordpress Jobworks | Development Company

i e www.mydomain.com

When i type that in address bar it forwards it to bestwebsitesdesigner.com ie mydomain.com

Even if i type Website Designer - Developer | USA Web Site Design Firm | Custom CMS eCommerce Wordpress Jobworks | Development Company it forwards it there

http://www.mydomain.com

I am thinking if this is not issue for search engines as I was trying to get sitemap generator used online and when I inputted my website name with www it said error

Do you think its not redirected properly or will affect seo or something...

Please help

I think i have not made myself clear

What I mean is

my website is redesigned...

before it use to be www.mydomain.com

after i redesigned it using wordpress now everytime it gets redirected to mydomain.com

it also works if i put http://mydomain.com

Looks like the www version redirected to the non-www version. You can fix it if it bothers you so that the non-www will go to the www version. Neither version is inherently superior for SEO, the danger comes in switching back and forth. As long as you pick one and stick with it you should be fine, the redirect is working.

I personally would probably switch the redirect to point the other way simply because it isn't a new site, and any time when links redirect you have the possibility of losing some juice... JMO
