Link Building is the Only Way To Rank your site high... you should create something else like sitename.com/blog and post some content on it... it would be great for your rankings..

You can optimize your home page by creating some pages and posts within your site, in this case it won't be single page site..

This kind of sites provide tutorials, blogs, news in the industry and these are the main way of promotion.

It's always a good idea for SEO to interlink your pages and posts. When you create new content link a phrase related to your keyword back to your homepage as well as other pages and posts on your site.
