Was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot something.

I've got one site that is getting btw 85-500 visits per day. However that site gets no Adsense clicks at all. When I look at my Adsense account it shows that site as only having 3-4 page views per day. A pretty big difference from what my hosting reports are showing. I've checked the publisher code and it matches. I'm ranking in top 10 for a few keywords so that would support what the hosting is saying as 85-500 visits per day.

How can I troubleshoot this and fix it if it's wrong? I don't want to click on any ads myself. How would you do it?

Hosting reports are not reliable at all. And 85 - 500 unique per day look pretty weird as well. It should be more steady.

You better install Google analytics to your site to get the idea of what your real traffic is. I used to use hosting reports as well. For example, hosting report told me that I had around 1300 unique vistors per day. However, GA only showd 600-700. So yea, you must likely want to install GA.

If you want to get higher CTR, you want to split test ads and change theme if needed.

    Good luck

Yeah, it's actually more like 85-100 per day. I had a spike one day of 540 (according to hosting). I guess where I'm concerned is that the rankings for these keywords would be more in line with the hosting report vs the adsense report of 3-4 pageviews.

Is there a way to test the ads without clicking on them yourself to make sure they are working?

Hosting reports like AWstats etc count spider hit and other bots.

Do as "online only" said and download analytics.

Also check out your in-analytics so you can see where visitors are clicking then tweak your sites layout to try push your adsense CTR up

    Regards

    Do this.

Go to Feedjit.com, grab the code for showing your live traffic. Once you have the code on your page (footer of all pages) then you'll have a single page that looks like this. You'll then have a 2nd opinion on your traffic. I don't think feedjit tracks bots.

If Google/Adsense says you have 3-4 page views, that sounds like a single unique traffic to me.

Make sure your not seeing personalized SERPs & thinking your page is ranking when it's actually not ranking. I use CCleaner & Chrome Incognito (both free) for viewing my own pages/keywords/SERPs.

It looks like you get much traffic from bots and not real user (human visitors.)
I use statpressCN (a free wordpress plugin). It shows me the ip address from the visitor I also see the refferer and also see wich bot came how many times.
This should give you also a good overview of your visitors.
I also agree that sometimes a theme change works wonders.
