Back Links Question?

Hey everyone, I am somewhat of a newbie when it comes to back-links but I do have a few questions that I would like to be answered if you don't mind.

1. If you submit back-links to directories, social networks etc. Should you also include your sub domains? For example, I have a review site and I am trying to get back-links to a certain program I promote. Would I use that subcategory domain (ex. www.site.com/site2) url or just my main URL (www.site.com) when submitting my site to the directory? Or both?

My attempt is to rank high in the search engines for each product rather going for the whole "internet money making" keyword which would be impossible with so much competition. Any Idea's?

2. I Just signed up for Angela's back link list. Anyone hear of good things in the last few months about this? Thanks

O yeah, and yes, now that I have learned a few things about internet marketing, I am definitely going for a smaller niche. Found a few good ones and working on my websites now. Because of all of your help in just these last few weeks, I am making some extra money in my spare time. Thank You All!!

    For Q # 1 - You should do both. However, there aren't as many directories that accept "deep link/sub page" submissions as there are "home page link only" directories. Use the 50/50 rule loosely - that is, 50% of links going to your home page and 50% of links going to your sub pages.

    For Q # 2 - Sorry, don't know anything about it so I can't say.

      The backlinks Angela gives you are awesome. If you actually go and get the links it will help your site greatly in the rankings. If you combine that with directory submissions, bookmarking, etc. you will be able to rank for the keywords you are targeting.

      Of course, you can't expect to rank for incredibly difficult keywords, but in most niches you can rank for most keywords using those backlinks.

    Subdomain's good for general forums. U can generate mini sites and toplists like that İ)

    if the site admits deep links then you are allowed. But some will considered as duplicated ones
