Hey,

Please take a look at this chart. It shows the traffic growth for a website where I did initial link building to the home page and then switched to adding content.



It just keeps climbing. After the initial burst of manual link building I switched over to writing more articles about what they were already coming in - which expanded the reach greatly.

This site was a complete new domain. It's now around 7 months old. At about the six month mark traffic really started to stabilize and looks to continue growing nicely.

Hopefully this inspires someone that content by itself is enough - as long as you have a base of link building to make your overall domain strong enough.

    Looks to be growing? Your chart tells me otherwise. Probably shouldve photoshopped that big drop at the end, just sayin.

    I see occasional spikes like that as well on some of my content rich sites but of course it never lasts. Your topic appears to be trending.

    Not trying to knock your results or anything, but come back in a few more months and let us know how that's working for you.

      You should probably catch a clue...just saying

      The spike is April through the 14th, so naturally I haven't had more traffic than I did in March for 31 days. However, based on the current trend April will again exceed March.

        So you want a clue? Here's one for you:

        Maybe you should let your "study" run on for at LEAST a few more months before jumping to any conclusions. Then again you're a big boy so feel free to blow your load whenever you please.
