Anyone making money with Tumblr ?

Just curious to hear if anyone is having any success with Tumblr with Adsense ? I've noticed it ranks surprisingly well for some quite competitive keywords.

    I heard people do get their Tumblr banned with adsense. Anyone with this experience?

    I have a few Tumblr blogs and have been using adsense on them in order to test what ad placement and what type of niches, posts and photo's generate more pageviews, clicks, ect... But they have only been going for a couple months. I stay very targeted with my posts so it's not like I have have some willy-nilly blog talking and posting anything that comes to mind. I have no doubt the traffic I'm sending google is good quality stuff.

    So yes, I am making money with it, but am mainly using it to test what people truly like, and then creating my own sites according to my findings.

    I've got a Tumblr blog and have gotten some traffic and social sharing from it. I just use it for backlinks to my site. The demographics are young and it's a ton of stupid pictures and porn on Tumblr so monetization is a no-go for me.
