Using graphs, charts etc on an SEO report

Hi there,

New guy here

Just a quickie really, looking to start doing SEO reports for a few small projects Ive taken on and have no clue on doing graphs etc. They look pretty and are essential to an SEO report.

I considered print screening GA, but that takes alot of work and may not look great.

How do you do yours and would you mind sharing?

    When you say taking screen prints of GA, I assume it is Google Analytics. Why dont you export reports in pdf or xlsx format and download them to your hard drive? There are so many reports you can generate and also pie charts and bar graphs in GA. It is a great way to generate all kinds of reports.

    If GA is for Google Adwords, then you can download reports at the campaign, ad group and keyword level in excel format. You should be good either way.

    You can do the pie charting from Google Analytics instead of print screening it (search youtube for it) but the disadvantages are :-
    - It might be confusing to some
    - Time consuming if you are doing in a bulk level

    If only more SEO companies will think more like you in the way of essential reporting instead of producing 1000 backlinks url reports in an Excel sheet. (which I doubt 99% of the clients will ever go through)
