Started messin around with PPC

Is there anyone else here that does PPC? All I see are...."link building, seo seo seo seo" threads.

I just started. I invested $500 through bing ads. I spent $30 already within 3 days with 14 campaigns and came up $90 by promoting Clickbank products. Yay.

Trying to hit 40 campaigns by the end of this week.

Anyone else with their past experiences or even now? See ya.

    How do you promote? Direct URL or through "review" sites?

    Do you also track n stuff with prosper202 or any other similar software? Or just lucky?

      Hmmm good question. I shall ask my partner. I'm the investor he was the one managing it all LOL.

      I believe he used prosper202.

    Nothing wrong in direct linking as long as the landing page meets all guidelines. Unfortunately, most Clickbank product pages don't meet those guidelines. So do your due diligence to make sure the page does comply. Otherwise, you may wake up one day and find your account suspended and nothing you can do since you have no control over the page.

    Tracking is important. The best is to use the conversion tracker that comes with Adwords and Adcenter but you need of course access to the page to install them. Tools like Prosper are not perfect and add a level of complexity but better than nothing.

    Direct linking is just asking for trouble. Even if all is going well now, and has been going well, it's only a matter of time. (Been there, done that.)

    You are much better off building decent sites / blogs and putting together landing pages for your CB products on them. Time consuming? Yes. But you'll keep your Bing Ads account.

      Not to mention, you'll most likely increase CR as well.
