When to add adsense to a blog

This is a question that is confusing me as I have read so many opinions as to when it is best to place Adsense on a blog.
Can anybody please enlighten me as to when it is best and why?

    Just put the quality contents and strength on your blog so that visitors would like to come again. Once you done it you will be ready to use adsense.

    This is just like you are assigning a power to a person after you make him competent to handle the job.

    I just want to add adsense on my blogger,but google said that my blog is not accord with their require,so i think maybe when i have write lots articles,they will agree.

      jingwen: you need to have decent content yes, but you also need to have a privacy policy at the bare minimum to meet G's quality standards. A contact us and disclaimer page would be good to. Try that and see what they say.

      kimkitch: Well there's a few things to consider. First of course many websites do set up adsense right off the back on their sites. This often looks quite spammy since adsense is normally used on established sites looking to suppliment their income. This can raise a flag with G when indexing you. Also once you adsense your site, it becomes obvious that you are trying to make money off it. So...

      Since adsense is no good anyway without traffic, I wait until I am at least getting 20+ uniques a day to install it. Also since I don't want my site to look spammy right off the back, I usually wait at least a month to install it. That way I have plenty of time to do some manual link building with other legit sites before I institute my monetization scheme which would make them less likely to link back to me.

      Hope that helps. I've heard from some experienced people that you should wait 3 months before installing adsense, but I don't have the patience to do that!!
