Spinning Articles for Web 2.0 and Directories - Still Worth it?

So many of the blogs and tutorials I am currently reading about internet marketing say that when you write a post for your main website, you can then spin and submit to sites like Ezine, or create web 2.0 properties.

Since some of these posts and tutorials have gone old, I was wondering if it would still be a good idea? Or would it be better for me to rewrite the article a few times if I don't want to get penalized for anything?

I dont think so, you cant place the same article on other directories.

That's where spinning comes in, right?

Spinning articles intelligently is a tough job. And very tedious. I always like to post fresh content. Its easier and adds value.

Yea, I'm on that opinion too. But I'm just starting out, and I don't have money and time to write hundreds of articles by myself. So I'm asking whether when I spin some of my articles to go to web 2.0, they would penalize my website or not?

Well, all I can say is be creative. See that the spun article reads well. I don't think you will be penalized if content similarity is very less.

You can check this article on spinning here:

Spinning articles still work and I'm using it for all most any kind of backlinks, but you have to be careful about the quality of the end article.

I won't advice you do this... This is a WASTE of time!!! There is no reason for people to read the same article on hundreds of websites (if for example anybody else also spin your article...) // I advice you to write it yourself and post EVERY time an unique article to EACH web2.0 website!

Yea but I'm not going to drive any traffic to the web 2.0.
The idea is only to get a backlink with the proper anchor text.

just make sure it all makes sense, its easy to spin it and not read and it wont make sense and then you will get bitch slapped!

i make all my money site articles unique, i then re-write them for my tier 1 sites then syndicate them, but spinning shoul be fine as long as its done well

If you spin well, then that's great, but generally I recommend you to write a separate article, and spin it to use for different article directories. That's what I do and I see POSITIVE results

The most important thing while you spin your articles is to make sure that they are readable and not junk. Because when you will be posting your articles especially in web 2.0 sites, you will get traffic on them which will lead them towards your money site. If they find the content of that web 2.0 are junk, they will loose their interest.

You can spin articles but recheck them, and make them readable there shouldn't be any grammatical mistakes.

I think it is a good idea depending on your goals.
If you take the time (and are willing to take the time) to write good quality spun articles then you can probably get away with this. The best way would probably be to right quality spun articles that rarely if at all uses the same sentences more than once.
some may say well why would people want to read the same thing over again? well chances are they didn't read it on the other site for one. Not too mention even if someone did read something earlier they can still get something out of it by hearing it re written in a new light. People can't soak up all the knowledge from something the first time they hear it, so it is brand new in a new time frame to the mind. I have noticed some of the best sites will create new content over and over again but when they do it is the same old content just different and these are the best sites.

If you have a general message you are always saying it, different parts of it maybe, different words depicting the same thing.

So to wrap this up technically and ethically it is alright, but because search engines frown at duplicate content you have to write it well to make everyone happy.

I hope this helps if so please press the thanks button it will help out my profile a lot, thanks!

You can use to spin articles if there are great variations from the original one and make sense to the readers, as most of the rewritten articles using any spin software are different in using the synonyms of the general words only.

It's too difficult job because If we spin article & post in to website it'll not beneficial for but at the end of the day we got penalized...One of mine reach the top position after doing this but when he got penalized then he reach 140 page on google..It's short term plan!!
