I've got the chance of obtaining a high PR domain name, with the main keyword in it, but it has two letters at the end which is the French word for that keyword e.g. the domain is tinnitusie . net - keyword of tinnitus but the ie make it the French word for tinnitus.

If I bought the domain and put English language content on it, can I still rank it in English speaking countries?

Hope I explained that ok!

You can rank whatever you want for whatever you want. It's only about the feeling people will get when they see your domain.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought. As long as its a .com or .net rather than a country specific domain it shouldn't really matter what language it's in.
