Keyword suggestion vs. actual searches

I know that you can go to Google, Bing, Yahoo etc... and search for good keywords for your site. What I want to know is, is there a place that I can go and find out what keywords were actually searched for over the last month? The problem is I was at the point of going live with my website, when I realized that computers and electronics in general are oversaturated with sellers as it is, and I was going to make it almost impossible to succeed just because of the category I had chosen. So now I am sitting here trying to come up with another type of product, but I have writers block. So I want to find out what is actually selling at the moment. Does this make sense?

You have Market Samurai as a keyword research tool, that has some precise information, and it's very friendly to beginners. That will give You some picture of keywords and SEO in general. Besides, You have 2 weeks trial. Check it out and play with it.

For the rest I can say... All niches are filled to top with people trying to sell... If You have product or site already, keep to it. You won't find golden niche with no competition.
If You do, let me know
