I thought this was about ranking 18,000+ individual keywords, which to me was

But good nonetheless. My record for ranking is a keyword with 250,000 exact match ranked at #7-10. I believe it made a $50ish a day with various CPA offers i was playing with (not targeted to the offer, just general email submit for ipad or gift card).

I seriously wish this thread was about ranking 18,000+ keywords overnight though. That would have been a tip for the ages :p

i think this video goes to prove that we all can be brainwashed easily unless we decide the "truth" is inaccurate. great video. it has inspired me to look in niches that "everyone" said are saturated!!

Sure, but it is much different and will cost more.

Also, for websites, you have to have really uncompetitive search terms to rank really quickly like this.

You won't be able to rank for "how to lose weight in a week" with a small site that is brand new.

Also, you cannot use the tactics I use on videos. You will get slapped of the earth not only google lol.

Less is more with web seo.

Great video. I'm a huge fan of YT marketing and have ranked plenty of keywords using videos that would have been a lot tougher to rank with a traditional site.

That said, you say blasting videos with Scrapebox won't work. This is actually one of the rare instances that I'll actually USE the scrapebox fast poster. I've gotten plenty of videos to page 1 using just Scrapebox. And believe me, I am not a big fan of automated Scrapebox links. But I've found that they can work well with Youtube videos.

Nice Video But actually when u still log in on google accountthen you will on first page ! try to log out if you still got first page then is exelent ! i did before it is easy to do that !

Hey Boris,

Thanks for the vid.

I noticed that the 18k is global searches. I've always only paid attention to local searches considering my websites are targeted to US based visitors (based on domain, Webmaster Tools settings, etc.). Come to think of it, I've never really tried to see if I was ranking in other Google results beyond the US.

I thought it was interesting that your vid also ranks #2 in google.co.uk, google.com.au and probably others as well (didn't check beyond that). But it leads me to believe that YT vids will also typically rank better globally than a typical website...and therefore be able to grab a larger slice of the global search volume value that Google dishes out.

Have you tested this with any of your own sites or are you strictly a YouTube guy?

With this specific offer I wasn't targeting only US traffic. That is one of the reasons I wasn't paying attention to local as much.

That being said, I do web SEO as well, but I mainly switched over to VSEO and do that almost exclusively now.

This gives me good insight, because I know the difference in ranking both.

You can do the same thing for sites of course, the strategy would just be very different.

What I am trying to understand, are there actions you actually took in regards to ranking for countries outside of the US? Like a setting in for the YouTube video that asks what countries the video is appropriate for?

I assumed you just put it up and tried to get it ranked for google.com results and the rest just happened on its own? Or were there steps you consciously took to rank for other countries as well?

Ah, ok sorry for the misunderstand,

I send backlinks from all over the world, and thus I rank in countries all over the world. (although even if I didn't do that I would show up there)

Sometimes I just target the western countries first and then diversify to profile makeup after getting good results.
