One Page website - SEO questions

Hello,

I'm going to focus on one of my products, and am thinking about creating a dedicated one page website just for this one product. The only options for the products are the colors; it's available in two colors. My website will have anchor links, and I'll use wordpress.

Does anyone have any helpful tips? Is create a multi-page site better? I just don't have many links, and I'm thinking using one meta title tag will be enough, especially for the product I'm marketing.

Thoughts?

    Why not have a single HTML page? Do you need a CMS for a single web page?

    If you have a single page, then all your links will have to come from external web pages.

    Even if you build a site with one page of content, I would advice you to add following pages
    1) About
    2) Contact
    3) Privacy Policy
    4) TOS
    5) Disclaimer

    Also I would recommend to add a blog in your site and post some articles related to your niche regularly.

    WordPress is not bad, it ranks good, you just need to create few pages, if you are going to create a website then you should create at least 10 pages..

    That's true, Wordpress ranks really well. You need to make sure that you are putting every possible thing in them. LIke keyword, tags, images(if possible), using alt tags for images etc

    You can definitely create a one-page new website but that will be actually difficult from marketing aspects. Suppose all the work you will need to do to promote it and since it is brand-new you may not notice improvements in ranks for months if you start SEO. If you have an already established website, the better idea would be to allocate one new HTML page to that specific range of product, then from other pages of your website and with the help of external links you will gradually experience improvement in traffic.
