Can We Change The Domain Name Of Blogs ?

Hey all , my question is that i am running one blog on online t shirt design maker with same name in url. So now i have changed my meta title in the blogger with another, that suits best accordin g to user searches.

Now what i want to is change my url name online t shirt design maker blogspot.com with another name xyz. blogspot.com

i have got somewhere ranking for online t shirt design maker for my website and blog in on 10 to 15 page of google .

So now if i change my url name, what it affects over all on my blog & the same keyword ranking with same name.

& do i have to tell google again, about the changes in my blog , do i have to submit the changes anywhere in google ?

please reply with your best and valueable answers.

    Hey Grettcs if you are changing the main blog url the position you already gain will be lost but if you are in 10 or 15 page of Google so still its not a good achievement yet, there is no option of change blog url you had taken the option is you can create a new blog on blogger with the desired name you want and re post all your post from old blog to new blog, dont forgot to remove old blog after posting all posts in new blog to avoid copied content.

      Hey tcindia from your answer , But till now i have confusion and question regarding that .

      As my old blog title is : Online t shirt design maker

      And the url is : onlinetshirtdesignmaker.blogspot. in

      i have change the title of the blog : The best funny & designer t shirts online

      But Url was old . and the issue is that the url was not matching with the over all blog .

      i not want to use the keyword any more at such high percentage that i include it in the blog title as high priority.

      So what do you say and tell me one thing more what do u say..about like if i have one blog on blogger then if i create new , as like that if i have 2 to 3 sub blogs with different domains suppose on blogger , then is it a bad idea as per seo and blogging , Or do we have to stick to one blog . What is the best strategy according to you that is best according to you ?

      i know my question is complicated , but it is in my mind i ask you . Please put a light on my question.

        There is nothing wrong in creating more than 1 blog. But always remember to publish only original and useful article. Don't use same article on all different blogs. Focus on building relevant links and you'll see good results in coming time.

        As far as best strategy is concerned, I would suggest you to stick with one blog only and create different categories as per your targeted keywords. In those categories publish only related articles. Then focus on building quality links and do Social Media promotion for good results.

          I want a little suggestion from your side now . I have now planned to change my blog url , i have gone thriugh your suggestions and come to know somewhere regarding my issues,

          So what i want is, I just want to edit the old domain with new one ( as changing the existing domain name ) .

          So please suggest how i can do this and after doing the same , What steps i have to take regarding google will index the new url with same content that have been already published on the old blog url and what i have to do over all that not look unnatural & unethical as per google .

          Please put a light on my question so that the issue become clear.Looking for you best advise sir .

            Blogspot doesn't support 301 redirection. 301 redirection automatically sends real visitors to new webpage or url. It tell search engines that current page is permanently moved to new page and all the link juice also transferred to new page.
