Do you think it would be beneficial to use GSA to backlink press releases through a PRWEb or PR Newswire to get extra link juice?

    Yes for PRWeb, but they do spam call you a lot after you've posted with them.

    I have heard varying success stories on the use of PR Web. Some people say its beneficial in terms of exposure but not so much in terms of backlinks. One article on search engine land talks about a lot of low quality articles being distributed by the network. The fact that people are getting metiocore content onto their platform (assuming enough of it happens) could potentially cause them to not be seen as very authoritative.

    How PRWeb Helps Distribute Crap Into Google & News Sites

    the article was prompted after it was found out that PR Web Distributed a news story of a Google acquisition that was totally fake.

    I think the press releases are great in terms of exposure however I’m not too sure how beneficial they are for backlinks.
