Adsense ad unit just under sub-nav menu

I want to place an ad unit either leader-board (728*90) or large leader board (970 *90) just below sub-nav menu ,i.e., just below the header.

I seek advice from the Google adsense experts whether placing an ad unit like above would be against google adsense terms & policies

    As long as the Nav. links aren't a drop down link covering the Ad & the Ad is clearly an Ad (not disguised as Nav. links), you should be ok.
