    Some issues i assume:-

1)May be there aren't much advertisers relevant to your content
2)May be your content on the webpage isn't sufficient
3)may be your adsense code is in IFrame(may get banned)
    4)Or using membership based website?
5)May be adsense crawler didn't visited your webpage
6)It can differ by ad settings too i.e; only image based or only text based etc

BTW, having same content on ezine & your webpage makes Google suspicious about duplicate content! Take care on that step too!

How do you know which ads are appearing on your website?

Have you looked on the Adsense site, or at your site through a proxy or incognito mode to see what's showing?

If you've just looked by browsing normally, then you'll see different ads to what your visitors see.

Google shows ads based on your cookies and past searches aswell, trying to improve the relevance of ads for you. This is the reason why you keep seeing the same ads on certain websites.
Ofcourse, there are a lot more factors, but the example above may help you get a better idea on how it works.

    Cheers

If you, in any case, have enabled 'Interest based ads preference' in Adsense interface, then you (and your visitors) would see an ads based on your previous browsing and searching (cookies based) experience. So, for example, if you browsed yesterday for a dog food on the web, it may happen today when you are browsing on your site, that you would see a dog food related ads. Some says that this interests based setting in adsense should be turned off, some says it should be turned on. I currently have this turned on, but it would show an irrelevant ads only if your website is poor in content (insuficient text).
