Lookup "link outreach"....basically connect with other webmasters in your niche and persuade them to link to you.....good luck!

  • Minad,

Try and land a guest posting gig somewhere and then you can link back to your own blog in your author profile. Another more passive way to build links is to link to other bloggers in your same niche and use them as a reference (when appropriate) for whatever you are blogging about. Sometimes people see this and like it and then they are more likely to link back to your blog.

You could also create backlinks on web 2.0 properties like wordpress.com or a wiki site. And lastly you could try the old fashioned way of just reaching out to people whether through social media or more traditional means and asking them if they want to link to you and you can provide a link to them. Make sure you are only doing this with websites that are in your same niche though or it may look suspicious. Google hates link schemes which a lot of these tactics fall under.

Here are some more tips on building backlinks,

    How to Build Backlinks

    Hope that helps,

Effective ways are to learn how to use software to automate link building or find some one who will do this for you for small fee. With this you can get tiered links which will carry more power to your site and with some extra social signals (facebook likes, retweets) which you can find on fiverr for example you can get nice results.
The most important things is to constantly build backlinks.

      Paid Links
This link building strategy is arguably the most expensive one (ain't it obvious?). It is also one of the best ones around. And even if Google generally says that paying for links is against their webmaster guidelines, you can't beat how it could potentially rank your site - especially when you get a really good deal with other webmasters.
Paying for links is an investment. But, like all investments, you have to choose and pick the cream of the crop. Pick the best website or blog - then pick the best webpage they have - then pick th best spot in that page. It would be best if your link is within the article itself. But if you can ask for a link in the sidebar, then all the better.
Make sure that you don't use link brokers. Link brokers cannot give you any good link. All their links are already devalued by Google - because it is against Google's webmaster guidelines to buy links in the first place. And since link brokers are most probably already identified by Google, buying from them will get you nowhere.

      .Gov / .Edu extensions
Getting links from these websites is much like winning the local lottery when it comes to linkbuilding. Getting a link from one of these sites spells out a lot for you. It gives you high link juice and authority. But getting links from these sites are tough. In most cases, you need political connections.
This link building strategy is a combination of hard work, determination and luck. Even so, you shouldn't spend too much time and effort in getting a link from these sites. It can only go so far. Focus on where your specialty as an SEO specialist is - if it's in creating great content, do that instead of trying to squeeze in your link in a .gov or .edu site.

      Press Release
One of the popular ways of building links is through press releases. You create a good article, submit it to a press release site, let it roll for what it's worth then pray for backlinks from all the potential readers. Don't submit articles from your own blog because that would obviously be a duplicate.
The good thing about this link building strategy is, you're tapping into a solid base of readers who are probably also webmasters looking for information and for good, reliable sources. Being known in a press release site can really help boost people's awareness of your site.
The thing is, you have to be an avid reader and writer in order for you to keep up in maintaining your press release output. You articles must be laser focused, helpful, concise and intriguing to your target readers. Otherwise it is pretty much useless and you'll get nothing but air. You don't want air. You want links.

I've been using a product called "Link Emperor" for about a year now. In my experience they do a very good job with link building. I am in no way connected to them other than a paying customer, just my honest opinion .

Add fresh and relevant content to your site and update frequently. If the website looks active, there’s a huge possibility that it will be crawled regularly. Build links from different authority sites – web2.0, article directory submission, wiki (contextual links from mix of do-follow and no-follow sites), blogposts, HPBL, press release, etc. Build links slowly and keep building to maintain the link velocity.

There are so many different views on this subject. Most are bad IMO but searching and reading through what's already out there would cover it.

Purchase some High PR Aged Domains and re-purpose them with relevant content, stick a "non" spammy anchor link in them and rise to the top. Of course, the magic is in your keyword research, but relevant high PR links are the driving force behind search engine rankings.

In my opinion, one of the easiest and most effective ways to build back links is to use a site called fiverr.com.You pay someone $5 to build you 100's or 1000's of back links on all kinds of different media forums...

Effective ways of link building are different for different search engines. So, there's no 1-rule-to-fit-all.

I think you should start first with reading webmsater's guidelines available on Google and Bing, to learn what's acceptable, what isn't, and what eventually may hurt your rankings.

Link building process always have to be aligned with other ranking factors, like content, or overall website structure. If your content is not useful (not readable, keywords fluffing,...), if your site has issues (penalties, poorly optimized,..)... then link building to it may only make things worse. But if your roots are healthy, then link building is easy and represents well-known methods used since the dawn of the internet:
    - article marketing
    - posting to Web 2.0 properties
    - press releases
    - social bookmarks
    - blog posts
    - blog comments on reputable authority pages

There are variety of additions to the above scheme, but to be honest, this should serve as your backlinks core.

Create quality content. Promote it via social bookmarks. Link to other posts related to your content. The higher the quality of your posts, the more relevant links it can attract.
