Anyone Else Get Banned From Google SERP For Using SEOquake?

I just have a quick question. I got banned it seems, from google, for using seoquake on firefox. I dont use it that much, but now I get no responses for google PR and when I click on cached for a website in search, I get a banned message.

Is there a way around this? Without too much trouble or expense? I have static IP address on DSL, and thought maybe there was a way around this. Like maybe using a proxy, or can I just wait it out, and google will lift my IP ban.

Or , if anyone has a suggestion of what they do in this situation. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

If you query Google more than 1000 times in a day, they may give you a temp ban.

    Try again in 24 hours.

    Thanks Kurt.

I was hoping that was it. I have used it a little bit much last two days, so hopefully that is the answer.

    Appreciate it. Steve

If you set your search to give you more than 10 results per page it is easier to get banned.
A few searches with 100, or even 50 per page, can give you a temporary ban.

I've been lazy and left tools like that on when doing my normal searches and have had to enter in captchas to even use google search (went away in a matter of hours and most 'bans' go away in 24 hours at most).

So just make sure you turn it off when you don't need to be using it.

I've personally made a separate firefox profile for when I need to use those types of tools just in case I forget.
