I want to start a blog related to travelling. If I put the images of the places which will be foundin google image search then will it be considered as a copying by the google ?
For example,if I wrote a article about the Singapore and after then if add the images of Singapore that will be found in the google image search. Will it be accepted by the google or else is it considered as wrong?
One more question,If I start a new blog through blogger, how many days I have to wait for applying it to Adsense?

Uhm, simply save the pictures on your computer and upload them to your website. That's all. That's not duplicate content if you mean that.

Once again Yukon, everybody and their brother says to just steal it.
No big deal, right? So friggin' funny.

You can use images in a lot of cases if you give proper credit.
Giving credit are the optimum words. There are plenty of
places to get free images without doing this. The best one is:
stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site
Just do an advanced search, change restricted ok to no.

You can do a simple tweak using your cpanel to prevent hotlinking.

Yeah. Just steal em. Has nothing to do with authority, PR, or
      duplicate content.

Just make sure you don't host the image on your own site and you'll be fine.

    <img src="http://someone-else-website.com/singapore.jpg" width="200" height="150"> does the job.

Often it also loads faster when you feature the images of authority sites and eats less of your resources.

Nik0 is right, but hosting the images on the same server will give you authority from google point of view.If you don't have too many large images, then loading shouldn't be a problem on a regular host.If you do have big images, you can always change to a vps.

      Cheers

Google will not view an image as a duplicate, however if you hotlink the image, the website where it is hosted may take steps to prevent hotlinking, and if you host the image on your server you could get in copyright infringement problems.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

I suggest that you use Creative Commons images (do a search in Wikipedia for sources of copyright free images), and rename the files to include your target keywords (accommodation-singapore.jpg), before uploading them to your blog.

In advanced Google image search there is an option: free to use or share, even commercially. Here's an example of such a search: - Google Search

Here's a great Creatives Commons image of Raffles: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...fles_Hotel.jpg

If you want to target a bunch of longer tail keywords, consider making a gallery of images. Here's a post about it: http://searchtempo.com/pulling-the-l...-and-alt-text/

Hotlinking an image is a bad idea and it is going to piss someone off.

When I catch someone hotlinking my images, I change the image on my article and I change the old path to a porn image just to mess with them.

The porn image would be funny, serves them right.

I had a guy hotlinking a lot of zip files on my site, at first it pissed me off that he was stealing my content & I wasn't getting the traffic, then I went back & started adding an internet shortcut link & heavy self promotion inside the zip files this guy was hotlinking from my paid host. I still get traffic from this guy, ha, ha, it's been a few years now. The guy is clueless.
