Hi,

I own a blog at Winson Yeung – Internet Marketing Online Blog where I have publish content since 837 content since August 2008. However, most of the content that are published before 2009/03/31 are of low quality and written just for the search engine in the past.

Example of Low Quality Blog Post

Target The PPC Advertizing Firm Just Right For You

There is around 500 published post are of low quality that was published.

My question is that should I "Deleted" the 500 low quality blog post and redirect the pages to homepage or I should just ignore them?

Looking forward to your feedback!

Regards,

Winson Yeung

I guess it depends how much time and/or money you have. My first choice would be to rewrite the posts to improve quality. The second would be to 301 redirect the pages. I would redirect to the sitemap, not the homepage.

The thing is all those pages are collectively generating good traffic. All those little one and two visits to a bunch of pages per day can really add up.

I would keep them and not do a thing differently.

As long as they were originally unique when you published them they can only help in.my opinion.

I definitely agree with squadron on this one.

If it was my blog I would just leave them alone and keep posting unique content like usual.
