Anyone recovered from Google Panda here?

I've had some success by moving some content onto a sub domain but what's left on the main domain is still penalised, although I've removed quite a few low quality content from it.

So I just wanted to know whether any of you guys have managed to get out of the penalty and the steps you tried, whether it was successful or not so that we can all learn from it. Thanks

    I see many services being advertised that they can remedy the panda affected websites, but practically have not seen anyone do it themselves.

      I think it would depend on WHY you were penalized. If it was because of low quality content, it might help to really upgrade the content (or start over with great content).

      If it was because of "unnatural" backlinks, you might have to find a way to remove them (or get the people who link to you to remove them). What a pain!

      Seems easier just to start from scratch, and use link building techniques Google actually likes, i.e., write such fabulous content that people will appear in droves and then link to your site!

    Though you are penalized by Google panda and penguin updates, it is important to understand that due to which you are penalized. If you are penalized for back links then you should try to remove low quality back links and work to get natural links for the website.
