Does anyone have a more effective method of creating backlinks thru web 2.0's than just creating spam articles that end up pr0-pr1 and usually have no Trust Rank and are rarely monetized.

Its quite easy to create a pr2 hub page or squidoo page but they take a little more time in creating a decent article.

is it worth the effort to buy fiverr gigs to get back links to the web 2.0s and place affiliate ads on them along with a back link to money site? perhaps raising 2.0 to a pr3..

kinda killing two birds with one stone.
as opposed to creating a ton of poor content 2.0s

  • Denutza,

Really the only way to make them higher quality is to invest just as much time in them as you would your own website. Alternatively, you would need to spend more money buying content to post on those web 2.0’s in order to make them higher quality. So, in the end, if you are going to use that strategy for building backlinks, you either have to invest more time or more money.

Personally I would focus on other methods like guest blogging.

    Best,

Link building would require you to invest time and effort if you want to achieve good results. You need to have high quality content and put those content to high authority web 2.0s or any other high authority domains (contextual links from a mix of dofollow and nofollow sites).

It depends what you want these web 2.0s for.

If you want to create them as a tier 1 towards your money site (that you don't wish to penalize), then it's best to treat the web 2.0s just as you would your money site. Update it once every few weeks with unique, quality content. Include related images and videos as well. You only need a handful of these depending on your keyword competition really. Create a back-link plan for these tier 1s as well to rank them up higher for your keyword. It'll pass the link juice onto your money site and as a result, will make your site look more authoritive. Plus, they'll also act as a "buffer" so if you build crappy tier 2 links and get penalized, your money site will be "saved" (so to say) and your tier 1 would be penalized instead.

However, if you're building web 2.0s as a tier 2 or 3, it's fine if you just want to use crappy spun stuff if you just want to use it for indexing purposes.
